Default 2wd rotating when braking

As the title says, when I need to use the brake on my 2wd buggy the back end tries to come round. I have turned the brake down on my transmitter but it either stops doing it but I am left with almost no brake for controlling the car over jumps, or it tries to rotate a bit less. I have also tried backing off my slipper but this has made very little difference. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. The car is a B-Max 2 MR.

Check (in no particular order):-

Wheel bearings for binding
Hinge pins for straightness
Shocks for free travel
Differential/thrust races for tight spots/broken diff rings etc

Basically look for anything on the rear of the car that is not as free as it should be -

Are you using a ball diff or a gear diff?
