Default ESC location for best handling on midmotor?

Im wondering what is best esc location to get best handling out of losi 22 in mid motor config ?

1) orginal place as per manual, esc on top of battery on back, next to motor cover.

2) ESC in behind the servo.

3) esc sitting on chassis floor between motor cover and battery (battery pushed forward to servo)

4) any other?

Most common is behind a low profile servo and in front of the battery for mid motor, exactly how Darren Bloomfield runs his.

I tried option 1 and 2 and i found option 2 the best in combination with a harder front spring or softer rear spring.

Option 1 i would run green/pink or blue/red
Option 2 i would run green/yellow or blue/pink

The other options i never tried because i never saw good drivers user it.
