Default Original Pred on ebay

I’m not usually one for posting up things found on ebay but this did catch my eye.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TENTH-TECHNOLO...em320040290516

Looks to be an up together original spec Predator to my untrained eye. Somewhat interesting to me at least since I believe the Team Orion Lipo pack would fit into that chassis layout. Of course I can hardly afford to run my XXX so not for me, thought some one here might have an interest.

I’m actually not sure how viable a race car it would be still since I’m not familiar with all of the updates Ttech did to the Predator over the years, but if they haven’t changed the basics the original car would still be sound?

shame it's not the real original with the woven carbon fibre chassis. that really was nice.

Sorry Jim, it is the orginal woven tub or isn't? I know it's got the orginal spec wings and that's what led me to believe it's the orginal but other then that I'm a bit clueless on it.

I would guess its a bit of a mixed bag of parts. The first preds all had a moulded carbon fibre tub. Later ones were made from moulded carbon impregenated plastic, which this one has.
I believe blue anodising is P8 but the chassis is earlier

G has one in the collection - it is nice - not useable for some reason - can't remember why?

the carbon tub chassis uses a separate front and rear ghearbox that needs to be screwed to the CF chassis, so you don't have 1 molded piece but 3 pieces ---> gears can be unalligned when you crash.

AND it's vintage, don't drive it
