Default mini 8ight cvd problem

last week at our local track i heard a clicking from my losi mini 8ight,

upon closer inspection the front cvd's were right on the edge of the front diff outdrives and on one side had actually popped out hence the clicking,

i stripped the diff apart and there were no problems there,

i checked my sons car and his was the same, with the dog bones on the cvd just about in the outdrive with about only 1mm - 2mm of outdrive holding it in,

i got around this by dremeling a shock piston to fit inside the triangular hole in the diff gear that the outdrive slots into when building the diff,

i did this both sides then tightend up the screw, with the shock piston creating an extra 2mm - 3mm outdrive room for the cvd dog bone to go into,
now they will never pop out again

has anyone else noticed how close to the edge of the outdrive the cvd dogbone is and have yours ever popped out, if yes try this fix, it works perfect

you can see the ground down shock piston fitted in picture one and in picture 2 you can see the extra length created on the outdrives, the recessed bit between the gear and the bearing.

Cant say I have ever had this issue with the CVDs

The kit dog bones tend to move back and forth on the outdrive and require a small internal spring on the Gear box outdrive
