Default Postage time.

I've ordered some parts from my R.C. car off e-bay on 15/04/13. Now to be fair the postage time was 'Estimated within 4-5 working days'

but this is the tracker so far...
DateTimeStatus18/04/2013 11:50 Hub Trailer Via Sorter 17/04/2013 17:47 Sent to myhermes central hub 17/04/2013 15:30 Collected from ParcelShop 16/04/2013 18:37 Customer Sent via ParcelShop 15/04/2013 23:14 Order Generated

For the price of the postage, £2.75 x 2 as I bought two of the same item. Could have probably contacted the seller and got it reduced but didn't think it was worth the time. it could have gone first class royal mail sighed for and I'd have got it on the 17th.
Why do people use these companies that take forever and a day to deliver?
This isn't a moan at the seller as I stated is does say 4-5 working days. Just with following the tracker it goes to show how slow they are compared to the royal mail.

Posted one today. £2.00 plus packaging. Signed for next day delivery. I'll find out how much these cost to post as I've got to post them myself.
I'll report back how much they where.

My little screw sets cost £1.85 plus the bubble envelope for 1st class recorded by royal mail. Most of them get there in 1-2 days but a few have taken over a week.

Just for the record ..

We send all our bodyshells out 2nd class std Royal Mail. For a bodyshell that fits in the "small" parcel bracket thats £2.70 in the UK. And the service is really very good. Parcels destined for the UK get there within a couple of days and most around the globe 7 to 10 days. We never send recorded as the cost is just not worth the extra and the bodies we have "lost" over the years is peanuts and not even worth worrying about ....
