Default 8th nitro on oOple

I want to grow the RX / 8th buggy section on oOple - how?

I've started adding the dates & veues for the nationals and some info - and hope to attend 3 or 4 of the rounds. Herts clashing with my own series.

If anyone wants to write up a report from Herts for oOple I can't promise you anything but love and maybe a tshirt and stickers - but I'm poor so that's my excuse!

If anyone attending the nats is mad for it and wants to promote the sport then let me know.

Also - is it worth opening up this section to RX-only clubs? People see this website as a 10th buggy website and whilst that's my class of choice I'm actually interested in everything!!!! even tamiya mini's and crawlers.

ideas welcome!

Great idea, growing the site through 8th.

You could also add sub sections for the regional series, in the NW its the NRS13. Send warrior Stu to cover them!

I think adding more clubs to the list is good, although is it possible to build some form of filter into it? So if i'm looking for a 10th track that races on a thursday evening in the South it could show me? Or 8th on a Sunday in the North? Just a thought I had which I think will make the information more useful.

Another idea, I know a lot of 10th lads fancy trying 8th but engines look scary. Why not a Jimmys guide to putting together a 8th car, I don't mean the basic build but stuff 10th guys won't have seen, a clutch, setting brakes and throttle linkages for example. Then it could develop with a Jimmys guide to engine tuning, engine rebuilds maybe. You'd need to speak to experienced people to get the info but if you put the info across with your comedy oople style with good pictures I think that would attract people.

This and more of the brilliant 8th race reviews as with the bunny race and I'm sure the site will grow with the addition of more 8th guys.

Good ideas boss - club stuff I will look into, it will require some custom coding but I think it can be done.

Could definitely do with some people who know what's going down to help out with it.

Will certainly add any sub sections people wanna see. Clubs could exist in here for now but eventually a combine and filtered club system would be ideal
