What Brushless for the lunchbox.... and shock upgrades

Hmmm, iv seen plenty vids on you tube showing that the lunchbox is not bad at handling lots of power, Id just like to know what combos you guys are running in your lunchboxes and what pinion your working with.

My std one is sadly using its std 540 with 1400 scrs and so needs to be doing 40 mph... i think i might even put a lipo in it lol.

I have a 4.5 gtb in the 501, but i reckon that really would be too brutal. Id consider a cheap japanese unbranded or un known make for speedo and motor but only if anyone has experience and if they have prooved reliable.

Lastly has anyone put better shocks on the car, im sure you'll know why lol.

I put a mamba max 5600 and 3 cell lipo in my blackfoot - it was utterly undrivable and was impossible to put any power down without it crashing dramatically

ha ha and the lunchbox with its see saw acceleration and wheelies a plenty even with a 540 lol. hmmm maybe just a brushless with no lipo then lol.

i think you need to take a vid of the blackfoot Jimmy.

Iv got a bush devil which uses the same platform, i just didnt want to scratch the new unused shell and decals that ended up costing more than the car itself lol.... but may be tempted if its more driveable...

I just need a fun old runner thats got some poke ...
