Default Practise venues during the week?

Could anyone tell me where I could practise during the week preferably outdoors and AstroTurf. I'm in west London but don't mind travelling upto an hour. Torch will be the place ill be racing at but just want to get some practise in during the week when it's quiet?

Surrey and Hants a lot nearer to West London. We're also making plans for a once a week open practice with our land lords.

Awesome, IIRC you guys race on a Thursday evening? Would I be able to run my car for a bit without interrupting the racing just to test it out?
Reason I ask is that last time I raced was in touring cars and due to my inexperience accidentally got in the way of one of the quicker guys and destroyed his wing as a result. He wasn't too happy and I felt kinda bad! S I've decided I need some practise before I start racing to ensure I don't get in people's way and ruin their heat/final!

More than welcome. Just rock up and we'll sort it. I promise you though, the club lads WILL get you racing on the night though! We really welcome novice/beginners.

And once you've got there you will want to race anyway. Got a really good mix of abilities from absolute beginners to top flight racers.

Thanks guys, ill pop along with all my gear (and no idea!) and give it a whirl, I warn you though, you'll have Heathrow air traffic control enquiring as to why there is a rc car launching itself off the first ramp into thin air
