This is taken from TLR website and might help:

TLR1072-Front Pivot, Aluminum: adds 7 grams of weight over the stock plastic pivot providing a smoother off-power feel and increased on-power steering.

If you are interested in adding even more weight to the front of your 22 the (TLR1049)25 degree brass kick shim adds 8.8 grams of weight and the (TLR1048) 20 degree brass kick shim adds 16grams of weight.

Ive got one of these, adds a decent lump of mass up front right between the wheels

looks somewhat of garden shed engineering, but to be fair, its nicely made........

Not a bad idea for extra tuning,

Just watch out for this 10th offroad BRCA rule at events:

23.2 The overall width of any bumper must not exceed the overall width of the front of the car including wheels. The bumper must be constructed of a resilient material such as plastic or rubber, with rounded edges and corners, and be of a design which will not cause personal injury.

Hmmm to be fair, it will almost certainly violate that rule. Although its smooth and wont damage anyone/anything more than the standard bumper, its obviously made from metal.

I race at norfolk buggy club, and boughton raceway in the summer, both of which are not strict so its fine for me to use such things - I suspect if I were to go someone a little more serious, they may get a bit funny.

I always carry the standard one, so could whip it off if someone spits their dummy out ! I dare say I could achieve very similar results by loading cheap sticky lead weights onto the servo, but its not half as pretty or blingy

Just have to be careful it doesn't get cut up/scuffed deep with wear and marshals can't snag skin on it, that's all that the rule is there for and rightly so.

I made a mistake and had a flat out 'incident' with a stationary Vega RB5 and my 22... the Vega had a large hole in it's very bling but now mangled aircraft grade alu gearbox and there was a bit of a scratch on the plastic 22 bumper... something else to consider!

Yeah I hadn't really thought about that. I don't race anywhere strict, so I shall stick with it, but not sure it'd be allowed anywhere serious. We shall find out come summer
