Default Changing your diff oil

Just changed my diff oil for the first time and was curious how everyone does it? The oil is really thick so it needs flushing out.

Personally i just used brake cleaner but was just curious to the method everyone else uses.

Crack it open, remove the cross shafts/gears, wipe and tip out what I can, then a quick blast of brake cleaner. A little bit of the old oil left in there isn't going to do any harm.

After the nightmare I had getting it to sit properly first time to round, it just fell straight out tonight.

mine is one, or the other, either can't keep it in. Or it feels like sometimes welded it in.
