Default Speed Passion GT2.0 Green flashing light?

Was wondering what the green flashing light under the ESC is?
Got a feeling its something to do with thermaling, but its still doing it when i switch on from cold.

The motor suddenly stops
running while in working state

The ESC has entered the
“ Over-heat Protection “ mode
The Green LED flashes means
“Over-heat protection” , wait for some
minutes to cool the ESC

The speedo seems to be working fine.
Just the green light keeps blinking
Even when the cars not been switched on for days
