Im going to buy a new 6.5t motor but not sure what to go for.
It will be between an LRP X20 or a Reedy but I havent run either of them before. Any advice from anyone that runs them would be welcome. |

I ran Reedy last season and they were really good. No experience of LRP so cannot comment on that.
I've just started running Vampire and so far, they seem to be as good, if not better, than anything I've run previously ![]() HTH |

I ran the x20 6.5 in 4wd and 7.5 in 2wd. I didn't have any probs with them other than they are to fast and have 27.5deg timing inbuilt on can.
If you are going to get the x20 I would go for one higher wind than you wanted to compensate. I changed over to the hpi flux pro motors and got say very impressed the are very smooth and run very cool compared x20. Never run reedy so can give anything on those motors Thanks

I found my x20s to be too aggressive. Also had problems with overheating. Lrp proved to be good when it came to warranty tho.

I was looking into a Reedy Kenny , i owned a 5.5 LRP last year and the thing melted the wires off the endbell.
I think the latest Lrp's are possibly improved on , they certainly look the part. |
