Default Kyosho Box art Optima.

OK, needs must, I'm leaning into too many other race grade cars, and a few of my shelfers will have to go. This one is pretty much all built from NIP parts, inc new chain guard, servo mount, etc etc, even a NIP Kyosho alloy screw kit, Check out my build thread for the lowdown, but the only way you get better than this is to build one from the box lol. Marwan body and tyres, with Pargu damper clamps.
£350 and willing to accept sensible offers.........but i do mean sensible please, that is subject to postage!

bests..........lee

Would you post outside the UK?
I've been collecting bits to build an Optima but I wonder if its easier to just buy a NIB or complete one

I wish my Optima could be painted like that!!!
Currently it's more like a "See Thru Optima" rather than the "Box Art.." Lol

I will post outside the UK, at the buyers expense sure, i know what you mean though, i think the bumper and chainguards alone cost me just over £100 after some crazy bidding!

Which parts are the hardest to find? I already have a brand new bumper, wheels, wishbones and front skid plate. I'll post a full list of what I'm missing tonight in a separate thread as I just set up a spreadsheet for the project

It could be, I'm having mine done at the moment by Jon Miller who is the same guy who did this one for Ralphee.

Shame you have to sell it Lee, I bought an NIB Optima a few weeks ago otherwise I would've expressed an interest in it.

Dan, you're lucky to have a new front bumper, the red shocks can be hard to find in good nick as are the chain guides. If I were you, I'd be all over this like a fat kid onto a cupcake!

I'm thinking I could sell what I have here to offset the cost

Ralphee can you find out what postage to Australia would cost?

What bits on it aren't brand new?

I can try get a quote for you, best guess would be about £40, but ill try Royal Mail later.

Parts that aren't new....

Front lower plate, this minimal marking, and was polished to within an inch of its life and is now beautiful.

Wheels, super clean, no scuffs, and white, mint condition.

Steering linkage, mint condition.

Front brace....mint condition.

Think that covers it, rest was new.

Anyways the relevant folk know she's for sale now, and they too know i do not build junk, its top of the line all the way. Neil will cry this and that about me selling TRF dampers, blah blah whine whine, but its only because i called him out as being a bodger and con artist, and he has a hardon for me now, obviously, he takes it to bed every night, poor poor little man, his poor family must suffer, if you have kids Neil, i feel for them buddy, really do.
Just waiting for his little carer friend to show up now and ask me where i race, like id feel threatened by his sad little diatribe lol.

Tyre lettering pen Keith, use as fine a point as you can get, there is usually a guy on Ebay that sells them listed under Tamiya........its pretty easy to do, by just letting the paint flow into the outer edges, you can achieve sharper edges as painting into the corner can get tricky and no, you don't need a stencil, thats for infants.

Neil, are you bored again? Wife been picking on you? LOL, i can do this all day as you entertain me even my wife now asks have i heard from the con artist with ADD, and anyway people who live in glass houses mate, remember that!

Yea I found "A" white Tamiya pen on the bay last night but wasn't sure if it was the right kind of thing for tyre lettering, I did email the guy but didn't hear back yet. I tried the toothpic method and that was a disaster.

BTW, don't be too hard on people with ADD, I'm dyslexic myself.
