Default how can i tell if my motor died?

hello,

i have an ezrun 2nd hand motor that i have been using in my traxxas slash Short course truck for a few months now and i ran it in the snow a couple of times but it just packed up at my last race meeting and sounded really graunchy before everything stoped, i have taken it out the car and tried it without resistance but still nothing, it is an ezrun 4370kv motor with the ezrun 60amp esc that came with it and i run it with 2s lipo's, does anyone know how i can test the motor?

thanks

Put another motor in it, if it runs, the motor buggered.

Get another one from here for £18, & don't run it in snow

Non sensored may be better for bashing as (in theory) there's less in the way of circuitry to go wrong/get wet.

The 'finned' Ezrun motors are only a 380 size motor within a 540 can so not very 'big' As for the kV (around 9t), shouldn't be a problem in a Slash.

the esc is sensor-less to my knowledge so will probably stick with a sensorless motor but the only choice is which one, im thinking 9t but since i now know the ezruns are just 380 ones in 540 bodies, im intrested to know what is actually a 580 motor that would be compatable with my ezrun 60a esc? for instance is this an actual 540?; http://www.apexmodels.com/gbu0-prodshow/ET0330.html

thanks
