Hi all. I have just got some second hand wheels and noticed that the front wheels have been cut down. My questions are
1. Why have they done this and 2. Is this worth doing to my other wheels?? Many thanks |

Possibly to run the old staggered ribs narrow.

Or (i think) some of the narrow schumacher spikes/pins. There are a handful of tyres that need narrow rims. Unless you have those tyres, its not really worth doing.

It's done so that you can fit slim front's or the wider fronts to your car. You don't have to cut them down but i'd advise to if you are running a slim tyre.
