Was good to meet a few of you this morning looks like you've got a good crowd! After chatting this morning ive narrowed my search down to rc10b4 and the t4.
I really like the look of the truck. However is the parts availability the same?? Im guessing they are the same or similar?? And are there plenty of truck class races at worm an yatton??? I will be buying next week so hope to be racing in a few weeks at the next meeting. Cheers ![]() |

Hello mate,
I was running the yellow T4 today! As you said there's two ways you can go as the B4 and T4 run in different classes. The buggy class is a bit more competitive, with more people entering. The T4 will run in the truck class which is always a mix of Stadium trucks and Short courses. Availability of parts is fine, the T4 shares a lot of the components from the B4 which are still easily available. The other parts the T4 used are from the SC10 and getting bits for these is no problem. If you need tyres or anything too Rob from SouthwestRC who was there supporting us there today can order tyres in for you ![]() Yatton do get a turn out of trucks but not always and sometimes it's just a few, the best turn out for trucks is at WORM where we have around 10 cars running from time to time.

Although I do love racing the trucks, you're more likely to get a good turnout for the buggies, especially at Yatton. We get some good truck races down there, but don't always run - with a buggy you're guaranteed to turn up and be able to race.
B4 would be a good choice, could always look at picking up a secondhand SC10 at some point in the future (often get good deals on them on ebay) then join in the truck fun |

hi there
I have just started and thought about a buggy or truck, I am glad I took the good advice and went for a buggy, they are supurb and the best car I have ever driven on or off road. like the previous post said get a buggy and then look for a truck, but I bet you don't bother. regards CARB |

Buggies are always going to be the dominant class, in the level of competition and number of participants. So it's really going to be the place you want to start, so you can guarantee yourself being able to race any time you show up.
If you want to add a truck to the stable at a later date, being as most people race more than one class, then do so at that time. |
