Default Tomtom GO 720

I`m looking at getting one of these babies.

Has anyone got one, are they any good, i know tomtom in general is the best sat nav but i would like to know about how effective the speed camera locator is and also the hands free speaker for the phone is.

Any input would be good

we've got the 720 aye. seems good to me. The phone thing is alright, it works, but it can be annoying when you don't want to use it. I've called people before and because the tomtom was in the car it suddenly took over the call
the speed camera thing works I guess, it will sometimes tell you when theres one on the other side of the road pointing the other way.. and I guess you need to pay to get a subcription to keep them updated.

we use the mp3 player on long journeys - we set it to play via the radio thru the car speakers.

Back it up, just like a drive, copy all the files into a folder on yer puter, then any problems you can reinstate.

Good site: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/

We are more than appy with our 720, dont use the phone thingy much, mp3's via FM.
