[QUOTE=Dragontune;718839]I am a die hard fans of the HotShot, spent half year time to built this up. Now ready to go.

To increase the overall performance, first of all I decided to modify the draive chain

1) Designed and DIY a spur gear with slipper

2) DIY the ball diff. to replace the original one

3) Change all the gear axle to hollow one

It look like you put a hotshot body onto a 2WD car. Isn't it?

They are both 2WD, yes. The top one is a turbo ultima with a custom topdeck to fit the rollcage body properly.
The second car is melting pot of academy, yokomo and home-made parts: mid-motered like the original

I think this HotShot would give a good account of itself if raced against modern 1/10th buggies.

This guy should be working in the R/C industry
