Default Shortly lipo feedback

So what's people's thoughts on shortly lipo's in 2wd??

Seen a few pics of Craggs centro with one mounted sideways towards the rear of the car and the RB6 with the pack in line

What weight are you adding if any??

Any handling benefits??

I've given up on full size in my 210. Too big, too heavy. Got a couple of 4200mAh Nanotechs now, which i can have in one of three positions (two foam blocks to play with as well.)

Also got a bit of weight under the servo (cream) and an aluminium front bulkhead, total weight is "slightly" less than using the 5400mAh saddles i had before, i've ended up with the shorty all the way back and i prefer how it goes. Nice turn in (until the tyres are shot), fairly level in the air (on our tracks, indoor and out).

Also, they don't snap the mounting tabs off the servo if i crash.

Cheers for the info chaps, think ill give one a try on my Vega, with the design of the battery tray it'll fit in 3 ways and I can make up a carbon spacer plate to suit.

Be interesting to see how the RB6 lads get on with their testing with the Orion packs

Got one for my RB6, reduced overall weight with the same weight distribution the way I have it. Also the possibility to have a slightly larger fore/aft weight shift over saddles due to the greater range of mounting options (and space for brass infront, behind or under if ever needed).

That will do for me
