Default Losi slipper on ae tranny

I have noticed many ac drivers are using a Losi slipper spring on b4 transmission. What is need to make the swap. The idea is cool with the bigger spring finer adjustment. But is it just pads spring or is there more to it?

Some use Associated spur, plates and pads with losi spring and nut spacer thing. Others use losi spur, plates, spring and nut spacer.

JOEL: Finer adjustment is the idea behind using the fat Losi spring

I beleive a few of the Factory-X boys run some or all of the losi slipper parts, as do a few F1 grade associated drivers, so we're not alone

How do you add that losi spring? It needs the black spacer to fit, but that doesnt fit on the AE shaft. The losi shaft doesn't fit in the AE gearbox...

As always, one option is to use a Dremel :-)

Ive dremeled about 1mm off the outside slipper plate, used the optional black ring from a losi XX hydra drive system, then the spring, black top hat spacer and nut.
