Hi

Evo
Why unethical ? I am already a member of Bury Metro and regularly attend meetings held by them.

Is there really any harm in asking your friends about racing at other clubs, on a date that no meeting has been arranged by your home club.

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve, i would guess its a unwriten gentlemens agreement that core the northwest clubs don`t advertise in each other sections, but check my signature

Eric - I don't think we'd consider it unethical for you to mention your excellent Turf Wars meeting in the Bury section. After all last round had Stu, Rog and myself present!
Not sure I'll be able to make this round personally but if Bury aren't racing I'd say our members should go and investigate indoor astroturf racing - its certainly different fro our carpet and polished floor!

Agreed Si, me and Gav have been down to Southport for the last few weeks and it's a great meeting and great track. That said, we're still Bury members and will put our meetings first when we have a meeting.

Racing at other clubs for me causes no harm, in fact it can bring in a few more racers to our meetings as a few of the local Southport lads may come and try a few of our winter meetings too.

Yeah agreed, don't think anyone can really complain as there only 7 meetings at bury all winter...... Actually 6 now.
