Default Venues open for practice or racing on Friday 26th

Hi All

My son and his best mate have a occasional day off school on Friday 26th. Is there a track anywhere within an hour or so of NW London that would be open to have a practice?

Cheers

Gareth

You have Telstar is Deanshanger Northants, and Taplow. Both run meetings on a Friday.

If it is during the day, have a look at the herts nitro website,

http://www.hertsnitromodelclub.co.uk/
they are open every day apart from race meetings and have an astro track to run tenth buggies on plus there is a model shop on site as well.
You need to buy your track ticket from the shop before running though or else it will cost more if the farmer charges you ;-)

hope this helps

Default Friday venues

Hi, Like Matt said Telstar in Deanshanger or Taplow in Hayes UB3 5AB. both run friday nights doors open around 5.30 for practice and racing around 7.30.
Both places are a great nights racing giving both learners and pro's a track to enjoy.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the advice, it is during the day we are looking for as evening is busy. Ware is not too far for us so that might work well. Do they have power for chargers?

Had a great few hours at HNMC today, broke all three cars at different times loved the jumps, we don't have big lumps at our regular tracks. My son gave his buggy full beans on the main tabletop jump and must have climbed 20 feet up before the inevitable coming to earth put an end to his day. A good lesson learnt anyway.

Will def come along again as it only took 30 mins to get there and facilities look ace. Thanks for the recommendation.
