Default RB6 steering rack - calming the car

I've had a few people mention that the RB6 is a little "pointy" for them. The solution is an easy one, if you reverse the steering rack so the moulded in arrow faces back you will move the track rod ball studs back 1.25mm which will help calm the feel of the car.

If you want a bit calmer feel still then try using the LA246 low profile ball stud which moves the ball back a further 1mm.

This combination really helped tip-toe around a super slipper Kiderminster yesterday morning and I will probably leave the rack reversed and use longer ball studs / spacers to go back to the original positions when appropriate as the ball studs can be got to without taking the rack apart.

Just another great tuning aid for the already very adjustable car.

Forgot to mention that you unscrew the ball studs and then screw them back in facing forwards after reversing the rack ... I know it sounds obvious but I'm sure somebody somewhere will forget
