After looking at the cougar sv2, I have decided it will be my new car. On the pictures though, I can't work out how you put your cells in - the top deck seems to be screwed down all over. Could someone tell me how you put them in please?

Undo 4 screws and at the front is a body clip pull that out then the purple pin from the front then the whole top deck lifts.
I have just purchased 2 SV2's and they look awesome can not wait to get them running.

Wouldn't taking all those screws out be really time consuming? If you were in a rush for your heat, you'd have no chance!

Just use body pins instead of the screws

Yes its time consuming but using the 4 screws or changing to 4 pins or even removing the posts completley changes the flex on the chassis.
Hope this info helps. Mark

I own the SV2 and share the sentiment that it is a little bit of a pain to change the cells. However, not sure I agree with the idea about having to change out your cells in quick time simply because if you are using lipos, and give them a top up in between heats (and charge them in the buggy), why would you need to be rushing to put them in etc?

Not at a normal run of the mill club it wouldn't. At National Level etc All charging may be required in a lipo bag but at most clubs this is not the case.

Just use R clips, we have without a problem for 12 months. Remove front pin then remove R clips lift up brace job done.
