Default quick question about speed passion brushless motor

Hey!
New to brushless here, i just picked up a Cat SX and a Speed Passion 3.5 turn brushless was included with it. I need battery and esc recommendations. Some good "how to" info would help if someone could point me in the right direction.

thanx!

If you want to stay speed passion, try the reventon pro, it has 3.5 turn limit and is reasonably priced. For batteries, get some core rc saddle lipo's, they are about £35. Just as a quick note, 3.5t is way too much for a buggy, even 4wd. Try 5.5 or 6.5 and it will be much better to drive.

IMHO 3.5T in a Off Roader is just suicide
3.5T is more of an on road motor !

6.5-8.5 is more usable !!

My advice try selling the 3.5
Buying a milder motor also opens up more esc's

I'm not married to the Speed Passion motor. My second question was going to be about a milder set up for this car. In the old days, I remember being really happy with a 16t double in a 2wd, and a 14t....something....in a 4wd.
I assume a milder brushless set up would be close in comparison.

Thanks for the help!
