Just wondering if anyone wants any bits making? NO MILLING because it's a ball ache!

could you make an alloy wheel, basically a 26mm touring car wheel, dished out to save weight, with the grooves for the tyres etc, with a centre hole for the axle.

Im building a project that this would help with so I can then fit the chain drive rear hub from an RC bike to it easily.

i made some alloy wheels ( take a look at pics in my profile) problem i had was the glue not working to stick the tyres, tried all sorts with no joy

Could you not drill and tap grub screws around the rim to pinch the tyre against the inner ribs of the wheel?
