Default Dual Sky 850 technical setup question

I looked at the instructions here
http://www.dualsky.com/pro_list_for.asp?sid=118&id=621
But I can never get through the setup mode to reverse
It stops after brake. Any ideas or explanation. It's brand new

No answers

But i found the answer for anyone buying a dualsky

The reverse function can only be switched off with the dual sky usb link.

So you pay 120 for the esc. You then have to get someone with the usb adaptor or pay £20 to disable the reverse. Really disappointed that you have to do this and not on mention on dualsky site about it.

Boooo

As I dont want reverse. You double brake either in purpose and you put a lot of stress through the gears

Hi I have the same speedo and also brought the USB link which Is a must really as it enables you to change the peramiters of the speedo like punch/ brake etc which seems the way of any speedo now either a setup box or USB link . But it's still a great speedo which I run in 2wd off road with a 7.5t dualsky motor and both only just get warm and runs faultless and is very smooth so don't be too disappointed as the USB link will serve you well in the future as they develope better software

I'm not too disappointed. I'm just more frustrated that nowhere in any instruction manual or box it tells you that you need the USB link to take of the reverse. Frustrated that I spent in ages working this out. It's a nice esc, just no one knows this until you buy the esc and try to remove reverse
