Default Speed Passion Motor Question

Hi guys I am after a little advice.

I have just ordered 2 new motors a Speed Passion V3 7.5 for my Schumacher SV2 and a Speed Passion V3 6.5 (also have a 12mm rotor) for my Schumacher SX3.

My question is.

What is a good starting point for the timing on each motor, the LRP's I was using had timing inserts so this is a little different so I am after a point at which to start the timing at.

I will be running the Hobbywing V3 esc and the cars are being run on High Grip Astro and a large track.

Any and all advice is very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Mark

If they are the original V3s (silvery can), then running the timing at the 10deg mark works well for me. If they are the MMM V3s with the dark grey can and red timing board, then the middle of the slot is good.
