Default Using a 1s (1cell) Motor rather than a 2s - Advantages ?

I have noticed in reading some reports and in Racer Mag that a few drivers have used a 1s motor in 2wd. What would the advantage of this be concidering we are using 2s LiPO ? Does it have a smoother power band or some other difference where they would be ideal ?

Cheers for any info

John

Afaik it just delivers the power more smoothly, meaning you can run a lower turn motor for more to speed without being too aggressive.
