Default Parking wardens

After all my hard work saving money on insurance yesterday I went out to a pub for dinner with a mate. I've parked in this carpark for nearly 8 years and yesterday the bloody warden watched me walk past him and as soon as I went round the corner he slapped a ticket on my car.
When I got back I looked at the time and it was issued in just 3 minutes after I parked it. I have to admit I've never looked at the notice bang in the middle of the carpark which did state it was for use for customers shopping on site only. He could have said to me as I walked past him I needed to buy from one of the shops to get free parking but just rubbed his hands and got his bonus. Still I've got some nice photo's of my car to keep from his camera.

You should of then gone into one of those shops on your way back and bought something just to wipe the smile off his face. Get your own back then.
By the way it not just wardens that can be numptys. The carpark I park in is an all day and i got a permit. but our warden put a ticket on a white transit van that was parked next to me and when i came back to my car later that day the transit driver had stuck his parking fine on my windscreen thinking i`d pay it. What an idiot as i know the warden and he takes photos of the offending vehicle anyway, and little blue toyota looks nothing like a lwb white transit, so that driver still had to pay.

If it's a private car park, you can probably ignore it.
Check money saving expert for details on what you can, and cannot safely ignore.

Got a ticket myself this week in queensferry ! I was working in a bank and couldn't get out due to them having a money drop. When i tried to explain too the warden he just laughed. he wasn't happy when i questioned his parentage ! Made me feel a bit better.

Bit late now to do anything. I paid it on the web when I got home. It does have legite signs in the area but I never read them so my fault. just so annoying that he just watched me go past and went straight for the car.
UKPC was the company.
