Default New club website

Just thought i'd let you all know that i have built a new website for my local club - Wrexham Model Car Club.

The old one was at least a couple of years out of date and led a few of you on here to believe that the club had gone bust.

The club is still alive and racing at our permanent outdoor track untill the end of August!

Here is the site;

http://wrexhammodelcarclub.webs.com/

I know that we race touring cars which may not appeal to some of you, but we could realy do with more new members so if you would like to come along on a Friday Night race meeting then please feel free!

Excellent, I love the outdoor track, one of my favourites in the UK and is a real challenge to drive cleanly. Had the pleasure of racing there with the Schumacher BTCC for several years and nothing beats waking up on a Sunday morning at a race track, to the smell of Cornflakes from across the road.

Great news! I love the Wrexham track. Are you considering starting Sunday events again?

We would consider starting Sunday events if we have enough interest, although last time we ran them, last year, we didn't get enough people.

This Friday is our last week at the outdoor track, before we move indoors for the winter. It's been a real shame as we have not got use the outdoor track an awful lot this summer because of the bad weather. Hopefully it will be better next year.
