Airduct making tool

Not sure if anyone will recall this but i saw some time ago an ad from an american car site that sold a tool to produce airducts in bodyshells. It was effectively a two part iron press, forced by hand. You heated the shell with something like a paint stripping gun (carefully of course) just enough to make the shell warm, and only just pliable. You could then, using the tool with one part outside and the other in press an airduct into the shell.

If anyone recalls this, and even has a company name or site, it would be appreciated

I used to make my own scoops for tc and mardaves with the type of plastic that comes with 9v batteries and most things these days.

Drill a few holes in the shell, cut down the plastic scoop to suit and glue to shell. can be sprayed too.

You're not allowed to make any additional cooling holes in your shell, so I'm not sure it's much use anyway.

Check the relevant section rules. In 10th we are not allowed holes bigger than 1cm (I think) to stop finders getting caught in drive trains etc.

And it has to be an air duct that is formed into the production shell.

I'm only talking specifically to BRCA rules I guess, but I believe you'll find that it's not permitted within said BRCA rules to create any kind of hole / vent that wasn't moulded into the original shell.
