I don't personally think there is any point in running warmers indoors on carpet, I've always had plenty of grip throughout the run by just using a cleaning and additive routine.
If you do choose to use warmers, 40C is usually a safe starting point. My thoughts on tyres are on my blog if you are interested |

You shouldn't need tyre warmers on carpet, (I take it its race carpet)
What tyres are you using? My local club has a small indoor carpet track with 1/2 of the carpet Prima GT and the other half some very old race carpet, the old stuff is not as grippy as the GT so most use Sorex 28 fronts 24 rears or foams to combat the poor grip area's and also only additive the rears |
