is there a way to run rear shocktower/shocks rear mounted, i've got the alloy top's with brackets for rear tower, but the camber link fouls the shock, if i swap the ball to the front of the hub it clears, but gives massive camber change as the wheel travels

Have you spaced the tower back to?

Yes, there is a multihole camber link plate for rear mounted shocks. U3529
