Default Orion R10 pro program box issues

I've got an orion R10 and i've got problems with my program box, it keeps showing that it's connecting to the esc and the message doesn't change. The speedo and program box are brand new so I might just be doing something wrong? Any ideas?

Did you remove the sensor wire from the motor? Mine won't connect if both sensor ports are connected at the same time.

Have you updated the software on the prog box? I think some of the boxes may have older software than the esc, even if they were bought together.

I had this problem too. The box wont connect depending on what motor you use.

It's fine with Orion, Speedpassion, Team Wave etc but anything else you will have to remove the sensor wire from motor side. Accoeding to Orion, the latest software should ammend this but it does'nt.

If the software on the box was needing updated it should say so on box screen.

It's all updated so it's not that, I'll try taking the sensor wire out of the motor (which is a hpi flux) you'd think they'd have sorted that

A mild irritation. How often do you update the settings and/or firmware?!

You only have to remove it from the motor end, which should be easily accessible in all but about 1 car...!
