Default SP GT2.0 with Thunder Power 7.5 issue

Hey guys, please stay with me here,

I only purchased this speedo and motor very recently and the speedo set correctly and ran with the aforementioned motor perfectly in my Durango 210. Then half way through a race in my second meeting the car appeared to lose neautral point, meaning the motor would remain powered even when the stick was in the neautral position.
Back on the bench the speedo was reset numerous times by numerous people and the problem continued to persist. If you pushed forward the throttle trim on the radio the revs would increase but would still in neautral the car was at around quarter throttle.
Following this I returned the speedo controller to Schumacher (uk distributors) then two weeks later reciever my speedo back with a note saying that's there was no fault found.
I've since tried setting the speedo with the motor again and now have no forward drive whatsoever. I appriciate I may have made a mistake in setting it so I will get a friend to take a look ASAP.

What I am asking is ha anybody experienced this sort of problem before? Ideally with the manufacturers stated but any experience will give me more of an idea. Could this issue be the motor itself? Or does it sound like a sensor wire issue? Or could it be being caused by my radio itself? I'm using a 40mhz KO Vantage.

Having been out the game for a number of years I'm unaware of issues that can be had with brushless motors and I wonder if this sounds like one?

Thanks for staying with me if you read this far! Thou shalt be rewarded in heaven!

Chris

Check your radio setting ect, end-points and trim on the throttle side are centered or at 0 then set up your speedo. It can't be the sensor wire or motor which would cause the neutral problem because the power comes down the A,B,C cables not the sensor cable. If still no joy, try somebody else's radio and RX.
