Default Tekin RS Pro - Is it Dead

Hi,

Not sure if anyone can help, but I recently bought a second hand rs pro esc which worked fine till today. I hooked it up to my sp motor and everything else you would do and now it isn't showing any lights, making any noise and only the servo and pt work. No power to the esc/motor.

Please help or is it to late.

Cheers
Paul

Can you try disconnecting the motor? Do you get the same result? I take it you don't have a hotwire to connect it to?

Yep, ive tried disconnecting the battery, resoldering the connections, you name it, ive done it.

I dont have a hotwire so ive sent it off to a friend, who has, to check it. Only uploaded the latest software on sunday to it.

Just hoping its repairable as this will be the second in 2 months.

If you updated the software then it stopped working that could be your issue, try and put the old software on

I had the same problem a while back, but without the software update. In my case it turned out to be the receiver that was faulty.

Good News, it's not dead. I connected the hotwire, defaulted the settings, then took it back to 212. It seemed to work ok then, so I tried the v223 update again, which worked great this time. Set the required settings and have now given it back to Paul to run, after we calibrated it to his radio.
