Default Newbie wants to come and play

Hello,

My name is Steve and I live in Stockport. I believe that Bury Metro would be my nearest model car club for outdoor radio controlled madness. I was wondering if you will be racing/crashing/laughing this Sunday. If so what time does the fun start?. Can I get a cup of tea and a biscuit or do I bring my own? What tyres work ok. Thanks for your help

Steve

I would arrive a out 10.30 to 11 for track building and a good practice before the racing starts. Shumacher yellow mini spike tyres are best. Slightly worn ones if you have them. Some run Shumacher staggered ribs on the front for 2wd but I can't comment cos haven't tried them yet myself.
Have you raced before?

Hi

Thank you for you post. I have raced before, mainly on road stuff, I haven't raced a buggy in a donkeys age though. Looks like it could be fun.

At present we don't have our own food/brew facilities so bring your own. We do have a kettle but until we get mains electric its a strain on our generator to run it!

Otherwise as Chris says Schumacher Yellow Minispikes, staggers/cut staggers for 2wds and Ballistic Buggy green spikes if its wet.

Any time before 11.30 is fine - track setup is earlier but booking in isn't till then.
