Default Limiting throttle end points on losi 2.4 rtr transmitters

I want to be able to limit the speed of my mini 8's without going to the expense of buying dx3e's to get end points.

I was going to just put a variable resistor in line with the earth on the throttle pot but then noticed that losi do an rtr transmitter with end point adjustment.

The lower end transmitter appears to have the solder tabs for the EPA resistors on the PCB (the five circles to the right of the throttle trigger).

Just wondering if anybody else has wired these up or has the transmitter with the EPA resistors and can upload a pic of the wiring.

Thanks
