hi just bought one of these to race indoor what upgrades do u guys recomend and also a good servo for the steering as the standard one is way to slow any help much appreciated

Hi-tec do a good servo, can't quite remember the model number but I think it is HS81 or something like that. Have a look on the UK micro forum:
http://www.uk-microrc.co.uk/forum I know that the FTX Pro alloy shocks, ball diffs, steel drive(swing) shafts and front alloy hubs are normally used. Also get some gecko foams, they last ages and grip well, even without additive. HTH Mark

Yes, Mark is quite correct, Hitec's 81MG or the newer 82MG is a good fit for that car. The XRay M18 servo saver is the best micro servo saver money can buy. You might want to think about the pillow ball front end but get titanium pillow balls as the normal ones just snap.
Steel drive shafts and ball diffs are a must if you are going brushless. |
