Default 210 shock towers

been racing today an have broken 2 rear shock towers just by landing of jumps onto my wheels. Has anybody got any upgrades to help?

Cream do a rear carbon tower and so do atomic carbon

I broke an Atomic tower as well as the plastic one. Not broken my Cream tower though so thats what I advise.

Try putting 1-2mm washers between the tower and mount - when the tower flexes it pushes against the motor plate and that's what usually causes the break. Putting the washers in gives more room to flex. remember to put the same number of washers on the shock mount hardware at the top to keep the shock inclination the same.

Me and cream (Noel) where chatting today and my towers are still the original and are worn on the tops but the Schumacher towers which where brand new have cracked after only 2 runs.

So Noel's aka cream dex210 towers front and rear are great.

i dont get the whole thing with the towers? ive done part of a winter, and a full summers racing with mine and still on original 2 towers

must be a bad batch as with mine when i looked at it after it had broken the shock tower was full of little air bubbles in the casting so i put it down to a bad batch
