Save up a bit more and get one of these: Spektrum DX3C

You'll struggle to find anything better than your ansmann for 40-50, unless you go second hand.

Turn it upside down. Look for a wheel tension adjustment screw. Tighten it up a bit.

hmm, maybe its too cheap for that...

Trawl the for sale forum, or get a better new rig. Spektrum DX3C, Ansmann W6 are much better, for £60-£75. Anything for less than £50 is going to be as cheap or cheaper than your W5.

I believe their was an ansmann W6 direct copy on ebay from china, for not much money. A racer I know has one, and it seems ok. Same as ansmann w6, but with a different badge.

Ask to feel some tranny's at your local club ;-)

There is a big regional meeting coming your way this coming weekend.

Search ebay for a flysky GT3B or GT3C.

Hobby King trannies are also Ansmann compatible, as are Eurgle.

The older ansmann W3.1 feels ok, tbh. A mate has one. you may pick one up second hand?

The flysky GT3B is a direct clone of the Ansmann W6 I believe. Google says they are 100% compatible.
