Default Tyre Compounds

After reading the thread over the national tyre issues, i was wondering, how similar is the same colour compound across manufacturers.

I ask this because i have just bought some BB greens for the rear of my B4 and Schumacher greens for the front.

The BB Greens feel very soft and rubbery, whereas the Schumacher greens feel very hard and are very shiny.

As this is the first time i have bought these tyres, do they sound as you would expect them to be?

Thanks

there is no 'similar' compound between 2 tyre manufactures, even if the 'feel' similar (Losi red Vs Proline M3) they do behave very differently.

and the colour of the dot means absolutely nothing, its just to identify them, green BB and green schum are different as much as schum yellow and schum green are different
