Default Castle Creations MambaMax looseness

In my 1/10th buggy I have one of the very 1st CC MambaMax ESCs which I bought in 2008.

Whilst racing on Sunday it came free from the plastic case (the 2 screws came undone). I tried to refit it using some more 2mm screws (the type used to hold receiver battery box switches) but one of them broke off inside the hole and there is no way of getting it out.

Is there any other way I could refit it? I've considered using Shoe Goo but don't know what effect this will have if it gets onto the various electrical components, which ultimately it would have to in order to secure the ESC inside the case.

If anyone has any experience of this happening it would be great to hear how they solved the problem.
