I can't wait for Lipo as it will be much cheaper in the long run than NiMh as well as easier. Currently I buy 8 packs of cells at the beginning of every season, assuming £35 a pack thats £280 per year. With Lipo if I could get away with 1 pack per car and they last me 2 years, thats £70 a year or so. Even with the expense of a Lipo charger it's more than payed for itself in the first year, you could get 2 chargers and still be up on NiMh 
I'm not too fussed about running them this year, just like when brushless started to be widely used it's changing all the time and as soon as you buy somthing it's obsolete. I would like to give one a try (Mark!!  ) but for the moment I'll happily let everyone else beta test them for me before I part with any cash  |
