Does anyone honestly believe that their laptimes would improve in performance by making their car quicker? If so why are you not running 3.5 Brushless motors?

Lipo does not offer a performance advantage that cannot already be achieved with NiMH. If allowed I'm sure they would still run to the same weight limits so theres no advantage there.

The advantage of running Lipo is that it allows us to practice for when they become legal at nationals (IF it gets proposed and passed at the AGM). It also gives for a much more relaxed days racing in my experience. It also means that people who use Lipo can save there NiMH batteries for national events only, so they will be in better condition for the most important meetings.

I was under the impression that it could not be run under BRCA rules, but after hearing that other regions are planning on allowing it why shouldn't?
