I see where your coming from, a 5.5 novak motor is faster than a 6.5 navak motor, but there the same price near enough. Now take LEGEND in his previous post, say he was an F3 and got into all the nationals, he now has to work his socks off on his paper round to get the money for a minimum of 3 sets of cells for the nationals. He also uses a CE pitbul X3 charger that doesnt charge LiPo, so he needs a LiPo which could set him back £50, then around £100 for a LiPo compatible charger, thats £150 just so he can stay competative at regionals, bit much i think. Im aware that most people are adults, do have jobs and can afford this but it will still be a blow to most wallets it could have done without. Im all for new technology and would love to run LiPo but just looking out for other people who are doing both regional and nationals who cant really afford the extra LiPo.
