the problem is the mamba 7700 is a 1000 watts motor... so it will cook your bateries without proper gearing. for the 7700 I used a 15T pinion, but the bateries were always too hot and in one race the SC stoped and never resurrect again...
now Im using the 6900 wich is milder and with 17T pinion, bateries and SC were warm...with excellent top speed and torque.
I usually ran with GP3300 or Intellect 4200
