idea for new gear diff
The outdrives fit the UJs. However they are about 0.8mm shorter than the old ones. This can be recovered by using longer UJ ends (the ones with 2 stripes in the 2nd pic) and some shims. Picture 3 shows the UJ position with the "standard" UJ end, while pic 1 shows that with the 2 stripe UJ end.
