I recall the steering link (not the arm) was catching on my B5M (using a SC1258TG). I cut a small corner or section off the link with a scalpel - it's beefy enough anyway - and that solved the problem.

If the actual steering arm is hitting the servo, then there may be something in the assembly that's not 'as standard.'
